For World Maths Day we followed a recipe, measuring all the ingredients out carefully, to make our own play dough. We then used the play dough to explore equivalent fractions, percentages and decimals.
We watched a Mathletics seminar about how Maths is everywhere. In our normal Maths lesson we explored long multiplication with Base Ten resources and we played interactive maths games during our ICT time.
And that wasn’t all; we even got to do lots of Maths challenges with Miss Lennon using IZAK9 blocks.
