Primary 5 had great fun today taking part in the Saving Fred STEM challenge! Working in small teams, pupils had to use only paper clips to rescue poor Fred the worm from his capsized boat and get him safely into his life ring — without using their hands!
The class showed fantastic teamwork, problem-solving skills and lots of laughter as they worked through the challenge.
A big well done to Jack, Hannah, Thea and Matthew who were the first team to successfully save Fred!
