As part of our World Around Us topic, P6/7 have been learning about the process of how water is cleaned so that it is safe to drink from our taps. We created our own investigation into possible ways of filtering dirty water to improve its cleanliness by creating our own filtration system. We were amazed to see how the dirty water filtrated through different materials like sand, pebbles and stones and collected at the bottom of the bottle in a clear, clean state.
