The Artist of the Month is Yayoi Kusama. P2 enjoyed learning about her art, giving their opinions and creating their own ‘dotty’ art. P2 were given paint in the primary colours, red, blue and yellow and encouraged to mix their own colours. White paint was given to help make lighter shades of colour. The children then used their art to make Valentine’s cards!
