Well done to our fantastic camogs who won the All County Division One Shield in Greenlough today.
After 3 tough group games, we qualified for the Shield, where we were drawn to play St Colum’s Portstweart. This was a tight game that ended up going to extra time but our girls pushed on winning by a goal and point in the end.
Next up was Glenview, who we had already played in the group stages. That match was a draw but we had got into the swing of things and won the semi final by another small margin.
In the final, we played a strong St Mary’s, Draperstown side. But our girls battled hard, with some fantastic team play and excellent scores. We headed back to school with the shield, medals and happy faces.
Another successful week for this super bunch of girls! Well done!
