Primary 1 have had a fantastic few weeks exploring their topic, ‘Brr, It’s Freezing’. We have looked at polar regions, experimented with how polar animals keep warm by doing a blubber test, investigated ice/snow as well as sorting and measuring winter clothes. The children had lots of amazing play experiences with both real and homemade snow! They built fantastic forts and igloos and enjoyed lots of winter art activities. They explored how we can keep warm at home and enjoyed a lovely warm cup of soup to get toasty warm after outdoor play.
